Starting from one of my favorite clothing stores "Express" I was inspired to put together these looks.

(inspired by this Express look featured in Winter looks 4 less)

Let's talk a little about what's for sale here... Yes, the Jacket is going!!! This Black leather motorcycle jacket is a women's large and was originally purchased in Seoul Korea while two friends and I was on holiday. We had a wonderful time shopping like crazy. We did everything over the top shopping, eating... just had a blast. The jacket is 100% leather, it has awesome shoulder detail. It hits the hip in just the right spot and can dress up jeans or tone down a evening dress with a cute pair of ankle boots. Red tops for sale as well, only 4 bucks!!!

Also as a bonus I found this uber cute leather corset styled halter vest. I lost a ton of weight in Tokyo and a Turkish man were selling these in his shop. It was a little pricey but it looked great back then. It's a womens size small but if you ask me it seems a bit bigger than that.It would easily fit a 32-36 bust.

Beyond the looks I found on the Express store website, in store I was wowed. I fell in love with a leather dress with a fur caplet they had displayed. I had to do my own rendition of it. They also had a lot of liquid and sequin legging looks as well as fab party styles. So let me start with my version of the leather dress.

So I came up with 3 style dupes. They aren't exactly the leather dress but they borrow elements from the original style.

Look 1 from GokiChan's Closet (literally)

So it's not a dress but IT STILL has the leather and fur influence. This highwaist skirt is a womens 14... but remember I do alterations (I also make custom clothing on Etsy). I pair the skirt with a cute sequin tank I got from Rue21 and My rabbit fur jacket. Sorry it's not fake... it's the real deal. It was bought in Seoul and remained one of my favorite pieces. It's super soft and hella warm. I love it and really hate that it got to small for me.

Look 2 same dress style but fur-less

This look is just a simple 80's style off the shoulder twill dress. It's very similar to the actual leather dress without the fur. You can find the belt at my etsy store. The dress is approximately a size 9.

Last look ... mini dress and leather blazer jacket. That says it all. The mini sweater dress can be found in the I love sweaters EMG post (Everything must go). The tri-layered belt can be found here. This buttery leather jacket was a gift from one of my friends in my Air Force Technical school. Don't know where he got it. It might even have been one of his own. However it just goes to show, it's not the item but the wearer that makes it fly.

Skipping forward, I ran across this cute little leather mini skirt while looking for something that could mimic winter shorts for this Forever 21 look. All the while knowing that there was no such irony in my closet I decided to stick with the skirt (I can't even begin to remember where it came from) and this comfy cream cable knit sweater I got from the Shibuya/Omotesando GAP.
Both items are womens mediums. The shoes are a 6 1/2. The ruffled scarf is Chenille.

The last Forever21 look can be easily replicated with a pair of liquid leggings, a leather motorcycle jacket and these pirate boots.

Moving forward... let's talk about the liquid legging look. I have to admit it's a hot look, but the last time I looked good in anything that stretchy was when I was about 13 wearing Blossom hats and oversized vest be cause it was "like" totally cool in the early 90's. With that being said I surely left that style back there with MC Hammer and the rest of the gang. So, whatever spandex demon possessed me to by these patent leather leggings knew he was wrong for influencing the though.

Yes' I fell victim to the trend and now that I realize the error of my ways I give you liquid leggings looks EMG. Express has a awesome red sweater look that sent me over the top.... I JUST LOVE RED! There where also some really hot blazer looks featured by Victoria secret that I duped. However, while I was at it I couldn't help grabbing a jacket and putting it with some leggings.

Look 2 Holiday pin-stripe jacket w/leggings. This Jacket I found at Old Navy about 3 years ago believe it or not.

Look 3 sweater w/leggings. This sweater is another Japanese find. It's a soft chunky boucle type yarn. Love the drape neck.

Look 4 leggings with a red blazer

This look moves us along into the pants suit look I found at VC's .The white pinstripe shirt will also be up for grabs. Look out for the "Christmas and winter looks for less" post. The red jacket was part of my annual squadron Christmas function in Tokyo. This look was part of an entire suit.

Now for the suit... best worn with black leather boots or rhinestone strappies. Not for the fashionably timid. Suit is a womens size 9. Fabric has a subtle texture pinstripe to break up the solid red.
